I'm going to see it this Thursday!!!!!! Soooooooooooo excited!!!!!! I watched the 1998 movie and it looks amazing! Marius is hot! lol Any Broadway fans that have seen it with opinions???

I haven't seen the actual show (yet) but I have listened to the International Cast recording and watched the 25th anniversary thing a few times.

I love it. It's my second favourite musical. The songs are so good.

Have fun!

AH! I'm jealous. I've been in the show and it's just phenominal. You'll love it. Be prepared to cry.

I know a few people who have seen it in the West End who said its really good, however I'm not a big fan doesn't seem like my type of show.:confused3 I'm sure you'll enjoy it though!!!

But I enjoy the whole theatre experience(I saw Joseph and the Technicoloured Dreamcoat in London and Grease,Blood Brothers,Oliver and Wizard of Oz at the Alhambra(Bradford)),I think seeing stuff performed on stage makes you feel more involved.

I really want to see Lion King and We Will Rock You!!!

I'm seeing The Lion King this summer in Las Vegas!

aejhfowefnrg;i te IT"S SO GREAT. it's my favorite musical ever. the music is amazing! the stage show is so much better than the movie. between tickets to see it, different cast albums, and the 25th anniversary concert blu-ray and tickets( i saw it in theaters), i've invested a lot in Les Mis!!! the story line can be a bit challenging to follow the first time you see it, but you've seen the movie, so you have a concept. as for the touring cast, they were just in chicago... and did an excellent job. the only bad thing i can say about it is it's not for everyone, and not everyone appreciate it. it's not like wicked, the colors are dark and dull, the dialect is more intense and most songs aren't as memorable as "Popular" or "Defying Gravity." the ending is very bitter-sweet and there are loss of characters within both acts. if you are used to musicals like wicked, mary poppins or lion king, this is going to be a change. but if you pay attention and transport yourself into the story it is immensely enjoyable. and there are some show stoppers such as " I dreamed a Dream' 'on my own' and 'do you hear the people sing'. have fun! and i'd love to hear what you thought of it after the fact!
