WDW 4 night trip next week. DW and myself have been planning a day trip on Wend 5/18 with an elderly family member who lives in South Florida for over a year. Assured for a long time that Wend was wide open for her. Emailed the final times yesterday and she responds that she has appointments all week! What!!!..... So we now have a free day to ourselves to enjoy. Instead of using one of our precious few remaining NE+ tickets for a hot crowded park visit, we decided instead to sleep in late on Wend following a late night at MK on Tuesday, and do the Dr. Strange movie at AMC in Disney Springs (a first for us). Then a nice DS TS meal and a restful night before getting sunburned at TL the next day. Just so looking forward to being back in the bubble. And by the way, we'll have our convertible on this trip to enjoy the great FL sunshine instead of using the Disney busses to DS and TL.
