Saw this deal on Amazon today! DS is gonna be a happy kid.

It goes for 179.99, and with AMazon, there is no tax and free shipping. So I think it is a really good deal.

Amazon is actually charging tax in a few states now. Here in Texas we have been paying tax on Amazon orders for about 6 months now.

We really can't say that about tax and amazon, unless you know what state it's being shipped to. The list of states where they charge tax has grown. (they've always charged tax on orders shipping to WA, of course, since we have the HQ)

And the no tax thing is bound to change at some point for everyone...

thank you for posting this! After I read your post I went to Wal-Mart.com and checked the price. It was the same with free site to store (or home) shipping.

Ordered it - got my discount (got to love that extra 10% off!). They had said it would arrive by the 6th - it came this morning - just in time for DD's birthday and our anniversary (both are today). DH and DD love LEGO-ing together - huge hit!!

I had it sent to our local Wal-Mart so I could pick it up without anyone knowing (so much easier than having to watch out for the UPS guy).

I'm so happy!!
