Lego Party Ideas for DS8

I loved reading this! Next year we'll have a lego birthday party for our son who will be turning 7.

Great picture of your cupcakes! Our Lego party is next Saturday, so I'll let you know how it goes. So far, I have "Pin the Dot on the Lego", a Lego spoon race, guess how many Legos are in the jar, a scavenger hunt to find a Lego racer for each child, then we will put them together and race them, and I picked up a Lego guy mold at Legoland this spring that we will use for the cake, along with an extra Lego-shaped cake. The party is only 2 hours, and I figure that any extra time will be spent playing with our huge box of Legos.

My DS *now 10* had a Lego Bionicle B-day for his 7th! I bought little Bioncile sets *that was their "goody bag"* for the boys, during the party they put the Bionicles together and played with them, they were around $6 each. I baked a 9x13 cake and placed *clean/just washed* Bionicles on top of the frosted cake.

It was a good party.

The sets I got for the boys looked like this *a variety of colors/guys*
