thanks for the post! I dragged my feet on the VIP preorder and have been stalking the lego site all day (where it is still sold out), i was able to order through the disney store today.

I just ordered it as well. Thanks for the info on the 15% off and free shipping. It will be a christmas present for my four year old daughter who is really into legos right now. This is such an iconic set that I am sure we will love for years to come.

I was about to order (at 12:40) and was checking out, then stopped for a minute, and when I went to put my order through it was sold out. Shucks. Hope they don't cancel yours!

Does anyone think that this will be a hard to get item for Christmas time? I know it is expensive but that doesn't stop parents from buying their kids $500 video game consoles every few years as Christmas presents. I really didn't expect these to sell out in three hours.

For those of you who still want to order it, an item isn't sold out on the disney store site until the blue "add to bag" button is replaced by a red "sold out" button. If it just pops up with the "oh phooey..." message, just keep trying. That happens when a popular item is almost sold out.

It's also currently available on the Shop Disney Parks app. Free shipping and no sales tax (which I assume this is limited to out of FL purchases only).

If you really want this item, you can probably find it at your local lego store. I saw a display for it in the mall today (although I didn't check stock in the store). Call and ask. This is something that people will resell at holiday time for profit.
