Lego Advent Calendar ..

Any current deals on them??? DS6 told me last night that today was the first and he couldn't wait to start it, problem was I never bought one! He had the City one last year and wasn't too into it so I decided to skip it this year, guess I was wrong, lol.

Still the best I've seen is Lego online SW one for $25. Of course I didn't look for the City one, just SW, and it's online so you'd still be late! Good luck hunting! I know how you feel, I wasn't going to get them either, had to have a long discussion with the boys that it wasn't happening, they are too expensive for what you get. I'd try to get it clearance so we'd have it for next year. But at $25 I did purchase ONE so today I have to have the "we have to share" discussion with them!

I'd try to get it clearance so we'd have it for next year. But at $25 I did purchase ONE so today I have to have the "we have to share" discussion with them!

DS actually would forget for days about it and then go back to it! I think I would rather just buy another lego set then pay $50 for the calendar! And thanks for the response, I understand about the budget! This year has been our toughest yet, so hoping you have a wonderful holiday season!

I did end up getting the SW one for $25 on black friday. DS was so excited this morning to use it. I would have been pissed if I had bought that at full price though. It's not worth more than $25.

If he really likes this lego one (verses the candy we usually do), then next year I will buy a real wooden one and just fill the thing with legos myself.

When DH found them 50% at Barnes & Noble yesterday, he said there were lots of City ones left. Might be worth check out if you have a local store.

None close, sadly. We have Books a Million about 15 minutes away but no B & N. Thanks though!

I thought about this, I'd love to just get those mystery guys, that's all they care about anyway, but that would cost WAY more than $25! Ahhhh!! I couldn't think of another way to do it, they wouldn't go for just a few bricks a day, they'd want something to build. No matter what I thought of it would cost more. I'd rather get a set for them, but then they don't have the countdown and they really enjoyed doing that everyday with Legos vs the candy.

The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar has a neat online feature where you go to www.legostarwars.com, click on the Advent Calendar in the middle of the screen, find the day number and then enter the code on that door's day...the little one's will for sure like it and DS(14) and I liked it. He can't wait to blow his little cousin's mind on Christmas day and show her (she and her dad love Star Wars) all of them at once.

This is where it took me too. If I click on game info and then latest news there will be a thing that says IN STORES NOW and below that you'll find the words about the advent calendar. I clicked on that but the new page is just sitting there with a symbol like it's loading. I'll have to try again later. I just tried the link PP said: lego.com/starwars and it takes me to that same thing the other one does... still loading

Thank you! I found it. It would not load on my Mac. It just sat there loading for 5 minutes or more. I use Safari if that matters. I went to the PC downstairs (Firefox) and it loaded right away

Just picked up a Star Wars calendar at my barnes and noble for 50% off. I wanted the city one but they were all out, I got the last Star Wars calendar!! Thanks for the tip!

Thank you! I found it. It would not load on my Mac. It just sat there loading for 5 minutes or more. I use Safari if that matters. I went to the PC downstairs (Firefox) and it loaded right away

Ha! I'm using firefox but it wasn't working. I opened up Google Chrome and it's working now! Thanks for the idea

Imagine my shock when I saw the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar on the shelf! There were about 5 on the shelf for $35 each. I had been looking for this for awhile now, had heard it was out of production, so I gave up. Thought this might help someone that is going to DD soon...might not be able to use it this year, but maybe next?

That's how I got my DD's, I called the DT Disney store in DLR and they shipped it to me *should've bought it when we saw it there in late October.
