Left side line vs. right side

It really is true, several times we would take the left side of the ride que and it WAS faster! At Pirates of the Caribbean, everyone was just following one another down the right side, we had the left side all to ourselves, thus we had a boat all to ourselves, while 100+ people stared at us from the other side!

The ques typically depend on the people in them. As far as the rides - there is an extra dip in the left side track of SP (although its not always an option anymore) and in DL the left side of the Matterhorn has an extra dip and a little extra speed.

I have found this to be ture also. Most people take the right side. We have always taken the left and have had either short wait or no wait. At the AK the Tarzan Show we went to the left and had front row seats while the Right side of the house was filling up faster. But the after show exit is to the right and many people may know this.

The left line is always quicker except for:
Splash Mountain
Tower of Terror
ET (USF)

I have no idea why but these 3 attractions are always against the traditional "left versus right" theory.

The "left versus right" theory is that people always tend to got to the right; even left-handed people go right.

I have to disagree with the TOT. We went to the left each time while everyone went to the right and had to wait longer!

Me and my GF tried this on our last trip, I would take one side and she would take the other. Most of the time, we would meet about the same time bording each ride. I think, the only way one line is faster than the other, is if it is a shorter line.

I have found going to the left at most of the rides and even in the parks is much easier as most people tend to go Right!

Now if you go to the left side on TOT(going straight ahead instead of going into the first entrance) you get the elevator that has all seat belts!! When I went to the right this side still had the bars.
