I can see her going either way by changing the way that I look at the shadow of her foot and her foot. It's actually an old visual gestalt principle (like the face/vase; old witch/young beauty puzzles). I suspect anyone can do it if they know where to look==you can actually have her do just a half rotation from side to side by fixing your eyes on the shadow at the bottom part of the screen (not the one right under her foot)

I noticed something very interesting (well at least to me ;) ). Last night I was sitting here at my PC playing a puzzle game and I looked at her once more and she was going counter clockwise. I about fell out of my chair - I hadn't seen her going anyway other than clockwise. I went to check out my POD on smugmug - glanced back and she was clockwise again. So off I went to play my puzzle game - 5 minutes later - counter-clockwise - go back to check a photo on smugmug - clock wise.

She only turns clock-wise or stops for me!

I'm a determined lefty if that means anything.

DH is ambidextrous and he sees her going both ways.

I will not look at her again. I will not look at her again. I will not look at her again...................:rolleyes1

She just told me that she prefers Canon. Oh, and she really loves reading posts with lots of math in them.

Clockwise, which surprised me as I've always figured I was more left-brained, if there even is such a thing, as I seem to recall a neuropsych professor in college who insisted there's not.

The brain hemispheres are prewired to specialize in certain tasks: eg. left hemisphere tends to specialize in language, even among left handed people (there are exceptions). However, there is allowance for plasticity should something disrupt brain functioning during development. If you remove the left hemiphere of a developing brain, the child will still develop fairly reasonable language skills, even though they only have a "right" brain. Don't try this in an adult, though!

ETA: Some quick research (does that prove I'm really left-brained?) suggests this may have something to do with the fact that information from the left side of your field of vision gets processed in the right side of your brain and vice versa, Interesting stuff.

Yes, this is true as well

OK, now I see her spinning clockwise but the voices in my head say that she's spinning counter-clockwise. Stupid voices.
