Left luggage - Resort Hotel Bell Services

I wonder if anyone can help?

We are travelling over from Scotland to WDW for a week at the parks and then a week on the Western Magic in October.

6 weeks later we are heading back across to WDW again for Christmas.

Does anyone know the time limit for how long the resort hotel bell services would keep bags in storage for?

It would be really handy if we could leave a bag of things behind, the usual stuff we just take back and forth to Florida, e.g. snorkels, flippers, beach towels, etc and would be a shame to carry it all back home to take it back literally weeks later.

I wouldn't risk it, if bell services had a time limit in which they disposed of unclaimed luggage.

Does anyone have any input or experience on this?? I am assuming with it being Disney, they would probably track you down somehow before disposing of it.

We've done it, but it was only for a few days. My guess is they wouldn't want to store it for that long. However, you may want to check into the Owner's Locker service advertised on this board. They allow you to store things in a bin and then have it picked up and delivered back to you on your next visit. We haven't used it, but it sounds ideal for your situation.
