Left iPads at POFQ

Hi all,
We left Disney 2 weeks ago tomorrow and are just now realizing that we left our girls iPads there. Apparently DH thought it would be a good idea to put them in a drawer the night before we left.
How do I get in touch with the hotel to check? I know chances are slim that we will recover them at this point.

If they don't show up, it wouldn't necessarily be housekeeping either. If they didn't open the dresser, the next guest would have found them. Hope it works out....

Ugh this happened to me but with some clothing - Learning not to put things in drawers on vacations sadly. I called, I wrote, no one 'found' anything. GL to you.

Good luck!!! We've learned---the very last thing we do before we walk out of a room for checkout is open every single drawer, door, everything! The kids even know the routine! One last sweep before we leave.

I do that, as well. Even opening drawers that I know I didn't open.

I left my iPad in a bathroom in HS on our last day and didn't realize it until we were on our way home. I had to wait until the next day to call and my hopes were not high. It was miraculously turned in and Disney mailed it to me! I hope you have a similar experience!

Two weeks ago? You should have heard from Disney by now. They are very good at shipping things out or contacting you.

I would be using the FindMyIpad app to track it's current location or using the security wipe feature.

Do you have findmyiphone app? we used it to locate our iphone when it went missing at Disney.. unfortunately it was at a mousekeepers house. I called the cops for her area and they went over and retrieved the phone from her and mailed it to us in Texas. That officer really stepped up. He first went there and she said she didn't have anything and he was wrong. He called me from the house to verify and he had me describe her and he said yup thats her and he went back and gave her a choice and she coughed it up.

Not necessarily. We typically stay for 10 days and don't use the drawers. I usually do a bug check, but if housekeeping didn't check and the next guest didn't check, there could still be time for them to be found.

But left in a drawer it could easily not have been noticed for awhile. They wouldn't have known who they belonged to.

I do all of that and then make DH do it all over again the same number of times. And still have left things behind - go figure!
