Yeah! We're finally leaving tomorrow for Disney World! :p :D :)

Does anyone know what the crowds are like right now? Anyone there now or recently?

Good news, they were non existant as of yesterday! We walked on every attraction we visited in MK, EC, and MGM (skipped AK). Have a wonderful time!

I was in Disneyville this time last year - I've visited Orlando something like 20 times now and been to at least some of the parks every time.

I've never ever seen the parks as quiet as they were on that visit !! It was bloody great being able to waltz onto just about every ride with the bear minimum of waiting time.

I imagine there was still a bit of post 9/11 angst causing attendances to be down last year, but I'm sure it will still be very quiet this year too.

My next visit is this Boxing Day - have to go then to fit into my lady's kids school holidays - and I hear, not too surprisingly, that the week between Christmas and New Year is about as busy as it gets at the Parks... Oh well... I still can hardly wait though !! ;)

Hope you all have a terrific time !!

Just got back lastnight and there ARE lines. A FEW things are walk ons, but others are 20-30 minutes waits. Sometimes it was crowded and sometimes not. It is still pretty hot too. It's great when the sun is behind some clouds, but beware when it is not. Hope you have a good trip.

Hello all! I just got back from my vacation. Both Saturdays were very busy at the MK (for late sept, early oct). There were lines on many of the attractions. During the week, most of the attractions were walk ons... I still waited about 20 minutes for The Great Movie Ride. The more popular attractions were about 20-25 minutes, which is still great compared to the peak wait times.

I'll be posting alot more info later... :p

We just returned on the 1st. The 30th and 1st were very slow in the MK and Epcot. They weren't even running trams from the parking lot at Epcot last Wednesday. We walked quite a ways in from the parking lot! There were just no people, but the week before was a little busier. We always went to the non-early opening park and walked onto most rides. A little wait for some of the Fantasyland rides, but others were great. Good luck!!!
