Well, we're heading out tomorrow! Here's the plan:

Leave San Diego 6:15am-ish, arrive and check-in the the GCH around 8am. When I confirmed the reservations, the person I spoke to denied that it is a perk of the resort hotels to allow EE with a hotel charge slip. Now, we have 3 day park hoppers, but they were bought at a military base, so they do not include EE. We're hoping that we can just show up and do it. I've read several times here that it is possible, although the perk is subject to ending at any time. Hopefully we can get in for EE tomorrow! Cross your fingers for us, please!

Tuesday we plan to spend the day in DL, coming back to the hotel to swim and have dinner at Storyteller's. Back to DL after dinner.

Wednesday we'll spend the day in CA, after having a character breakfast at Storyteller's. We'll come back to the hotel to swim, then off to Yamabuki's for dinner. DL after dinner.

Thursday... are Thursdays EE days as well? If so and if possible we'll do EE again with the charge slip. Then park hop as we please, coming back to swim and then have dinner at Goofy's Kitchen to celebrate DD's 5th birthday! Yay!

Friday the party is over. Check-out and head home to San Diego.

How's it all sound? I'm excited about everything. A little iffy about the EE, but ready for fun.

Any last minute advice or info would be super. Thanks!!!

Oh! I just checked the calendar for times the parks will be open for the next few days and DL opens at 9am! So, EE at 8am, right? Gosh, I don't know if we can make it... I suppose we could leave San Diego at 5:45-6:00am? Ouch! But I really want to do EE... maybe catching it on Thursday will be enough... WWYD?

We just got back from DLR and GC. We were able to use our charge slip to get our second EE day last Thursday. Wednesday night you should receive in your room a list of the GC activities for Thursday. It should say at the top of it how to use your charge slip for your EE.

We arrived at the gates at 7:45 each EE day and were among the first 5 people in FL both mornings!

Have a great trip!

I wouldn't worry too much if you don't get the EE, we were at DL all last week and didn't show up until 9:30 each day and we walked on every ride most with just the 5 minutes it took to walk up or down the ramps to get to the ride. The only wait we had was for the Peter Pan's Flight or whatever it's called, our ridemax said 25 minutes and we were on the ride in 20 minutes.

We did not do Space Mountain so I can't speak to that but GRR had no wait and Soarin had about an 8-10 min wait. I am sure you will be able to see everything you want even if you don't get the EE plus you will be able to sleep in a bit LOL

The crowds were very small, the weather was what I would call overcast but pleasant, it was perfect for strolling around the parks. I never wore my fleece once but I think my dd wore hers one night, it never rained at all.

Hope you have fun.

Anne
