Leaving Saturday- luggage question

I hope this makes sense.

We are taking a big family trip. Due to resorts being full, we are staying in 3 different resorts (Us- CSR; MIL and FIL- CBR; BIL- Pop Century). My MIL/FIL are leaving a day before us and spending the night halfway. Since BIL is riding with us, they kindly offered to take some of our luggage down in their car, since ours will be pretty full.

My question is, how can my ILs deliver our luggage to CSR? Can they simply tell the security they are dropping off our luggage (we are sending them down with our reservation #) and leave them at bell services? I don't know any other way of doing it.

Does anyone have a better idea to do this correctly?? Thanks in advance!!!

It sounds like a good idea to me. With security issues these days, I would call ahead and tell them that your BIL will be dropping your luggage off, just to give them a heads up.

The security at the resorts only want to see a picture ID. We go to other resorts all the time and never have any trouble. If you aren't at the resort they can leave your luggage under your name with the Bell Desk. No big deal.

Since they will have a car, why don't they simply wait until you arrive and then drive it over directly to you.

Because they will arrive on WDW property LONG before we will and can just drop it off on the way to their resort. That way when we arrive, our luggage will already be there and no one will have to drive anywhere.
