Okay there was a poster who is leaving in 80 days and is packed and I on the otherhand have been paralyzed with indecision...We leave tonight at 8:30! 7 Days to pack for - What a nightmare. Have to take dog to the kennel and get packing! I know none of you would ever do this. First stay at Wilderness Lodge and I hope we like it. Thanks for all the tips!

Oh, thank goodness someone is worse than me. We leave in 4 days and I have not even started laundry, let alone started to pack. Last trip I was packed weeks in advance but this time I just can't get with it.
We have dance class tonight and brownies tomorrow night, which means by the time I get off work, get to the activites, eat dinner it is almost 9pm and then it is homework and bath time so when am I supposed to pack?

Catfish,
Take a deep breath and start packing. I'd help you myself if I was anywhere near. You may be feeling the stress right now, but soon it will all be behind you and you will be in a very happy place! Hang onto that thought. Have lots of fun! :)

my clothes smell funky after sitting in a suitcase for a week (while on vacaiton)..I couldn't imagine 80 days!

I always pack the morning we leave...I may make a detailed list...but I dont' actually put anything in a suitcase until the morning we leave (unless we leave in the morning - then I have to do it the night before)

I am the queen of last minute packing. Last year I packed, took a bath, and dressed in 20 minutes for 4 days in Vegas. I just knew our friends would be late picking us up for the airport, but they weren't.

I am usually one of those 90 day ahead packaholics, but not this time! We leave Friday, at 6am (plane leaves at 8), and I although I have a bunch of stuff thrown into luggage for DD3 and I, DH & DD12 have not packed a stitch (pun intended)! I still have a bunch of stuff to pack & do. Being this unorganized makes me not enjoy the planning stage as much as I usually do. I am trying to not overpack, but that means I actually have to "think" and there is so much cr*p to take (stroller cover, rain jackets, light spinners, snacks, glo stuff, costumes, etc, etc, etc). Oy!
