How likely will my family of 5 be to find seats together? I was so busy packing, I didn't check the DIS in the last couple of days and missed the whole Southwest change.

If you at the head of the B line, you should be fine. Maybe 3 and 2, across from each of other or a in consecutive rows. I would not count on an aisle seat though.

Have a wonderful trip.

My kids are 11yrs, 9yrs, and 8yrs, so I don't think we qualify. Also, this is there first flight and they are a little nervous.

As long as 2 of us, and then 3 of us can be together, thats fine with me. It would be even better if we were all either across or in front/back of each other.

We are getting to the airport rather early, we were going to grab brkfst. Should we grab something and then get in our queue immediately?

Thanks.

I don't know this for a fact, but I can't imagine them splitting up children to sit by themselves.
Good luck :earsboy:

Well, at Southwest, it isn't a matter of anyone at the airline splitting children up to sit by themselves. It's open-seating, so it is more a matter of what's left when the family finally gets through the queue and onto the aircraft. I've never heard of a case, though, where there wasn't at least one person volunteering to move around so that a young child could be seated with at least one of the child's parents.

I'm sure you'll be fine - just make sure you get at or close to the front of the B line.

I wouldn't think so. Trust me... no one would want to be stuck by any one (or more) of my kids without us parents near them. They'd rue the day they decided not to move, if they did decide not to move. LOL
