should I be concerned?? How close does it arrive to your departure date?

The real concern is that I am renting from a DVC - good references, no worries, but I can't call and scream at Disney to ship it since it is her reservation until I check in!!

Will they courier them to us? Do I really need this pacakge in order to get on ME? Was there anything else in the package that I might have needed?

Since I am renting from a DVC, what do I need other than the confirmation letter to checkin?

I'm a DVC member...If I understand correctly, you are renting points from a DVC member and this member called and made the reservation under your name giving your address and then set up DME for you. You also received and have the confirmation letter for your DVC reservation. You have a few things you can do.

1) Call DME directly at 1-866-599-0951. The automated system will tell DVC members to call DVC for inquiries. Ignore this and stay on the line until you get a DME agent. Have them check their DME system to see if you are in it. If you are then have them confirm your address then have them courier the package to you. My experience (twice) is that I've received the couriered package within 3 days of my call. What can it hurt to try this?

2) If you don't have the package (but have your DVC confirmation letter) then you can do one of the following...

a) When you get off the plane at MCO go gather your luggage at the carousel and head down to the DME check-in desk and register (they'll put you in the system for your return flight at this time also so you'll need your flight info).

b) When you get off the plane at MCO head straight to the DME check-in desk and register. You can give them the checked baggage claim tags your received from the airline when you checked in as well as a luggage description. You can then take the DME bus to the hotel and they'll track down your luggage and send it on to the hotel separately.

I'm inclined to choose option A if I don't have the DME tags on my luggage already.

Enjoy your trip!

Call them directly. The often send our stuff to California because there system has trouble with the CA designation. They should be able to courier it to you.

My "landlord" renting me the points called and Disney had not sent them out! They sent them UPS so now I have them - YEAH!
