Yes, I'm there.
Although this year, we've taken too many vacations already! We did the
Disney cruise in March, went to Oahu in late May, went to Universal Studios in August (don't even go there, it was not at all Disney, which is why I decided to go back to Disney). We leave in 4 days.
Plus, I just decided (can't believe I'm doing this) to spend an extra $500 and go from AKL to BWI (but the darn reservation system is down when I just called). I never change our resort, but this time I had such a hard time deciding. It was just going to be me and my children, so originally we had a moderate booked. It was very very inexpensive with the free dining, then DH decided he could come along (but 2 days after we get there) so I spent an extra $400 to go with AKL, now I realize that we really LOVE the Boardwalk area, and their rooms are all beautifully renovated, so it's "my birthday present to myself" to quote Cuzko (I know I misspelled him, but you know the emperor from "The Emperor's New Groove").
So double our vacation cost, but we'll be doing our best to help the economy down there in Orlando!
I totally relate, though. I need to start putting our clothes out to pack, but need to see closer like Monday what the weather looks like. It does seem like it will be nice!
Got little lights and suction cup things to put them on the window/balcony door. Got window clings, for the mirror or the balcony. Got a little ten inch tree with tiny Micky ornaments (from 7 years ago). My kids think it's crazy, they love anywhere we stay.
I am happy for you - I think we all need vacations. At least every 6 months.
Oh - just noticed your photos! How absolutely beautiful!!!!! And you have a new baby as well! Congratulations and have a wonderful wonderful time! We'll be there the 17th to the 22nd, probably at BWI. The Contemporary is great for little kids - the monorail is so fun. It's a ride itself. I've done a few mommy and kids trips, and it is so fun. Of course, it's fun with daddy along as well, but sometimes the smaller the crowd, the less you have to accomodate everyone.
