Of course, choice is subjective...while beautiful & SAB is great, I voted for BCV due to managements lack of response to a bug issue. Whilel incident could have happened anywhere in FL, still surprised as to fact manager never contacted us despite several phone calls & stops @ front desk.:confused3

My point, the building and amenities could be the greatest; but it the CMs gracious and attentive service that sets DVC apart from the norm.:thumbsup2 Happy with atmosphere @ both BW & WL:banana:

I voted for SSR. We had a bad experience there, but I think it could be chalked up to the ongoing contruction. We stayed in the Paddock literally a day after they opened it, and only two buildings were open. There was no internal bus yet, it felt like we were the only people in the building, our room flooded when it rained. I think if we went back after they finish building it, we would love it.

This is what's so great about DVC though. There are so many different options. There's something to please everyone.

I voted for VWL for only one reason...theming. I live in Maine with several acres of woods....so I get plenty of pine trees, woodsy moose and bear motifs, etc. all over the state. Seems I can't get away from that type of theming here in Maine, so I certainly don't want it on my vacation. The resort and staff, though, are lovely.

I voted for OKW simply because it's theme and decor hold no appeal for me. I'd still gladly stay there, because while it doesn't suit me exactly it's still a beautiful resort.

I had to pick OKW because the lack of elevators in most buildings. We've had 2 wonderful OKW trips, but I would love to have the option of a different building area.

Clearly, "least" favorite still means it's A favorite place for me to be.

Bobbi:goodvibes

I voted for HH, even while sitting here in Big Murggies Den. We like the resort and staff. Obviously the split resort is not the preferred option, but they did a nice job executing it. But for us to drive 6 hours from Orlando to come here for beaches, golf and tennis does not make a great deal of sense.

How about asking which is your least favorite child? That is more like it.
I know she's grown and all, but I never liked Cindy Brady. Between the tattling and that lisp, she was insufferable.

I've made the point before, but SSR has all the drawbacks of OKW without the great big rooms or the really cheap point chart. Call me crazy, but when I visit a theme park, I like to be able to just walk to the theme park. If it were just a smaller resort, I wouldn't mind, but it is so large, with so many units that I think it throws everything out of kilter.

I picked VWL only because the WL in general doesn't appeal to me.

I voted SSR. I'm a new owner and my first trip home was anything but magical. It will be the other resorts for us from now on. We booked SSR because it was all that was avialable on short notice.

What strikes me as funny is that I lurked here and researched for a year before our BCV purchase. I recall the majority of posters here owning SSR yet at this point in the poll it the least popular resort.

You are trying to start a fight, arent you;) I voted, but I wont tell:scared:

I voted BCV because I have issues. :rotfl:

I get creeped out by buffets and can not bring myself to eat at a buffet, and everyone but me is seriously lactose intolerant - so Cape May and Beaches and Cream would be disastarous choices of restaurants for us.

I also get really creeped out by crowded public pools, and just the thought of the sand bottom at SAB gives me the heebie jeebies. I will allow my kids to swim in a pool - but I don't like to encourage it.

But - BCV is incredibly popular for the very reasons that I would not enjoy a stay there. :goodvibes I totally understand the appeal - I am just a weirdo when it comes to buffets and pools.

Hmmmm. I actually put a lot of thought into this in order to cast a vote and I learned something in the process.

There is not one single DVC resort that we've stayed (we've now stayed in all of them except HHI and AKV) that I could vote for as being my least favorite. They all have offered something unique and we have enjoyed every resort in it's own special way.

So I didn't vote. :)

Now, I had no trouble voting for the resort that is my favorite in the other poll, and I'll never tell either! ;)

I did not vote because we have yet to stay at SSR.

I'm the same way with fern bars and sitz baths.

Sitz baths?

Who doesn't love a good soakin' of the nether regions?

Seriously, the gals were in fist fights over the sitz baths in the maternity ward when I had my first baby.

Try it out. You may like it!

looks like a very close poll....
tho lots of ppl love OKW, that is our least fav.
just too "plain vanilla" for us.
(also, we found their mousekeeping subpar, e.g., we arrived to many, MANY ants in room :scared1: . called MK repeatedly, but no one came despite promises. called front desk, transferred us to MK. :confused3 wound up driving to store, buying lots of ant spray, & exterminating them ourselves since there were "no availble rooms" and we would've needed to eat & sleep eventually).
they have cute ducks tho :donald:

I choose SSR as my least favorite for no other reason than it's too "on the outside" of the world, I dont like the fact that any outside buildings can be seen, I don't get that WDW submerged feeling. Other than that I agree that it's a beautiful resort - the location is why it is my least fav. JMHO

I chose BCV since I've never been treated well there--never a Welcome Home, incorrect room assignment--room was already given to someone else or pre set with gifts for someone else, arrogant CM at check in, it's my vacation I don't want to deal with this type of thing. After the second time, I'm not willing to risk it again! That was my first add-on and I wish my OKW had passed ROFR so I didn't own it! I have not had a problem with getting other resorts at the 7 month window, but if I did I'd sell those points and buy where I wanted to stay!

One thing I think you need to take into account with this poll is that many many members (including myself) have not stayed at every resort on the list..

Voting on which one we like the "least" before we've tried them out is like saying.. "I don't think I Swiss cheese based on all the experience I have had eating Kraft Velveta..." ;)
