Everything you heard is trueI've heard really good things about Sebastian's Bistro, at Caribbean Beach Resort: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/caribbean-beach-resort/sebastians-bistro/menus
Agreed! We took the skyliner there after our morning at DHS en route to Disney Springs. Enjoyed our late lunch, only thing I would say is not enough seating, it’s obviously very popular and we had to wait for a table. It's a QS, but the food (which I think is stellar) is delivered to your table. Cloth napkins and silverware in a really nice, comfortable setting with great pricing. Primo Piatto at Riviera. We ate dinner there 3 nights in a row because of the value, portion size and quality of the food. The CM's there are terrific too.
I was going to suggest breakfast at Ale & Compass- you can’t beat the price for the buffet + choice of entree. We ate a late breakfast on our arrival day at Yacht last month (super early flight obviously) and really enjoyed it. I had really just booked it for convenience but would make the effort to eat there again even if we aren’t staying at Yacht/Beach.Think Ale and Compass at the Yacht Club would be a good place for your to consider for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Maybe not the 'least expensive table service meal in a park or resort', I didn't compare all the pricing, but it's 'relatively' easy on the pocketbook, a very nice restaurant in a beautiful resort, plus close to Boardwalk, Skyliner, and International Gateway, too.
Wherever you go, Squishie, sure hope you have a magical time!
