Least Expensive Character Dining Options

Trying to stay on a tight budget but would like to take gd to one character meal. Which are the least expensive but decent and what characters are there?

You're best bet is to do a breakfast. Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore is fun and it's $18.99/adults, $10.99/kids. Another one (but I have no personal experience with it) is the Garden Grove Cafe at the Swan but it's only on the weekends. It includes Pluto and Goofy and it's $16.95/adults, $8.50/kids.

1900 Park Fare (Supercalifragilistic Breakfast) and Crystal Palace are the same price - $18.99 adult/$ 10.99 child. 1900PF is in the Grand Floridian so if you're not planning on going to a park that day, you don't have to spend an admission to get to breakfast. On the other hand, if you want to get into the Magic Kingdom early, CP is the way to go. We've also done Cape May breakfast (same price) but it was our least favorite.

Both are buffets, both have good food and good character interaction. DD-15 still insists on CP for the characters but also likes 1900PF for the strawberry soup.

character breakfasts would be the cheapest option. the best interaction we had was at 1900 park fare, great food too. the slowest characters, well this was dinner though, was at crystal palace, we didnt see any the whole time we ate so when we were leaving our waitress brought us to the other side of the room where the characters were and they stopped and all came by for pictures which was great! Ohana is a great choice too b/c you can see Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Pluto, Chip and Dale were there too.

We went to Cape May Cafe for the breakfast and really enjoyed it! We found it far quieter than some of the breakfast so you weren't rushed for time, and there is a good selection of characters & I believe Donald duck has just been added to the line up 2!!!

I don't think Lunch is much more then Breakfast. You may want to consider an early lunch that could fill in as a brunch.

Also what character's are you interested in? Depending on the ages of your children, it may be worth it to spend a couple extra $$$.
