Least Crowded Early DEC or 2nd week of JAN

We had planned a trip for early DEC. before the Christmas Rush. However, I have noticed several posters complaining about crowds even in early DEC. We will go any time of the year and day of the week to avoid the crowds. Would JAN. after the holiday crowds go home be better than early DEC. Any thoughts or past experience would be welcome. Thanks!!!

We have done both and the second week of Jan is less crowded. The beginning of Dec is only slightly busier. We alternate going Dec and Jan because we really love the Christmas decorations and special shows they have in Dec for Christmas.

I've gone both times- and I definitely think that Mid-January will be less crowded!! Walk-ons at most of the rides--- although you will miss the Christmas Decorations and activities (which is why there are more crowds in early Dec.)

Thank-you for your responses. I thought JAN. might be the least busy of the 2. It seems like early DEC. is really picking up in crowd level. We went years ago and early DEC. was wonderful, with easy walk on to everything. I think that time must have passed.
