Is there a site or a source to find out the least crowded days of the week at SeaWorld? :confused3 I'm looking at the second week of June.

Thanks!!

Jenny

I would love to know this too. We will be at Disney from April 9-18 and was wondering what days are the best days to go to Seaworld for one day.

SW is NUTS from end of May through September 2.

Don't even bother going on weekends or Thurs/Fri. Or Holidays. Shows during these times WILL fill up 1 hour-45 minutes BEFORE the show starts. Especially the first Believe.

As for April, it's still pretty quiet. I would say Monday and Tuesday are the best days. If you go in the morning...no one is there. So it's the best time to hang out by the dolphin touching area. It gets a little more crowded around 1 - 3pm.

Is the same true for early December? We are heading to Disney during the "crowded" week of December 3-9, where all hotels at Disney seem booked. We would like to do a day with possibly another 1/2 day at Sea World. The original plan was to go Saturday, but if that will be busy we'll go Monday. My son loves Dolphins and dreams of being a trainer someday; at five he can only touch them by feeding them, so we want to make sure he gets close. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think from Thanksgiving through the New Year attendance picks up a bit. But the busiest December weeks are 20th to January. Especially with Shamu Christmas spectacular.

I would definitely advise you to go Tuesday or Wednesday.

The parks close at 6p during the not busy season. So usually there will be two Believe shows. Again I would go in the morning for dolphin feeding.

Also one more thing your son may enjoy. Go to the dolphin underwater viewing in the morning before the feed, when the dolphins are not distracted and have no toys. Bring a little mirror and something to throw up in the air...I usually use a white jacket or hat. They come right over and go nuts for it. The mirror (which sometimes is discouraged) can be used so they can see themselves.

The same technique works with baby shamus - if you're lucky enough to see them in underwater viewing.

In general the least crowded days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

Any time school is out its going to be much busier though. Early December is bad until around the 15th then it gets busy.

Thanks for the information. It will definately help with my planning,:thumbsup2

I agree with onenightonly.

SeaWorld has become increasingly popular. It now attracts more visitors than IOA (which, I must say, I find rather amazing)!

As I like to say, if you are anywhere near normal, you'll find a "slow" day at a theme park pretty overwhelming.

So expect big crowds and plan accordingly. If it proves to be a "light" day, thank your lucky stars.

Oh I could not agree more. I went one day and there was no one around and I felt so lost. I didn't know what to do - what to see first. You find yourself wondering "if I go here...and the crowds come then I'll miss this." I guess it depends on your preference to decide what exhibits to visit.

Oh cool!! Thanks for the advice. We are planning on spending the day at SeaWorld on a Wed. so hopefully it won't be too bad. My DD now 4 is looking as forward to seeing Shamu as she is the Disney characters. She even asked for "Shamu" for her birthday which was yesterday. Luckily I found a plastic killer whale in the Schleich animals she collects and she was thrilled!!!

Our kids have a school Fall Break next week. We're heading to Tampa & Orlando. We're planning on visiting Busch Gardens & Sea World. We're just not sure which park we'll see on which dates.

I suspect we'll take a few leisure days early in the week and visit each park twice.
