Learn-to-Surf Program suspended?

I hadn't seen this on here yet, but I may have just missed it. I just called to make reservations for DH for the Learn to Surf program at TL for Oct. and was told the program is currently suspended and to call back in 2 weeks and see if they are bringing it back or not.

Anyone have another idea that DH can do while we do BBB?

Yes, it has been reported here a few times already. Sorry that your plans got messed up. I know if it were my DH, I'd send him to the spa and he'd be in heaven but I realize that others aren't as metro as he is. Does he like to golf?

From what I'm hearing it's because there are cracks in the wave pool and so they have to tone down the waves till they're repaired during the winter refurb. I don't know if that's true, though.

There's a snorkeling thing at Typhoon Lagoon (other than the free version), but I don't know much about it.

I've heard good things about the driving experience, or there's golf or one of the fishing excursions.
