Learn the basics?

Where do I learn the basics on renting a Vacation Villa? I have read through a lot of posts, but am still confused!! Thanks!

You can get information about renting from a DVC member on our <a href="http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid=29">DVC Rent/Trade Board.</a> The <a href="http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33">FAQ</a> is a good starting place for information. Basically, you would be renting a reservation from a member. The reservation would be in your name and you would pay the member directly by some agreed upon means. All aspects of the renatl are negotiable with the member. Both parties should be comfortable with the rental arrangement.

You can also make reservations at DVC resorts directly thru Disney.
