Leappad 2 or Leapster GS worth upgrading the Leappad?

my 6 & 5 year old received one for Christmas and LOVE it! I am considering upgrading my 6yr old (7 in Dec) to the Leapster GS or a DSXL he is not as advanced with technology as some kids so I am not considering going more than those two. I am not sure if the Leappad 2 is worth the upgrade? I have my eye on 2 children who would benefit from our upgrade by receiving my kids current Leappad. Seeing if any other parents are considering the upgrade I like the bigger storage and 2 cameras. Thanks!

I am upgrading my daughter from a Leapster Explorer to a LeapPad2 this Christmas. If she already had a leappad I probably wouldn't upgrade her.

I don't know if going to a Leapster GS is an upgrade or downgrade from a Leappad. I was under the impression that the GS is an upgrade from the Explorer.

Does your almost 7 year old still like the games to benefit from an upgrade to another LeapFrog product? I believe that is on the high end of the learning content games that they may be too easy. Just a thought. At that age I might be tempeted to go the DSi route but if they share I don't know if the younger child is ready for that system if you are going to be getting rid of the original leappad if you upgrade to something else.
