Does anyone have this? My dad bought this for my ds4 and I wondered how it is?? Do you feel like your child is learning phonics etc.?? Thanks!!!

I have been looking at this for my dd4.5. I plan to buy it for her birthday in December. I've read that it can be difficult at first to download the books to the pen and that it only holds 5 stories at a time.

We have it. My daughter is 4 and loves it. There are different modes. It can "read" the whole book at a time, or a page at a time, or a word at a time. We do one page at a time. I don't feel like she is learning phonics, but once we get to the stage where she is moving the pen across the words, we might feel that way. Its fun. She has 5 books and is always asking for more when she sees them.

I also have a question we already own the leap pad would it be worth buying this also, or is it pretty much the same thing. My daughter is 5 1/2

I am the OP and we did download the books, however, the only book that is actually working is the book that it came with. The Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Book will not work.
It may be going back to the store.
My Dad bought this Tag System because he had heard from co workers that it is worth the money and teaches so much.
