Leap Year Birthdays

Im a little confused. The last leap year was 2000 so if she had a Feb 29 b-day she would be 4 yrs old this year. Do you mean she is "2" since its only her second actual birthday?

Yes, she is "2" because it is her second actual birthday. She is really 8. Sorry for any confusion.

A friend of mine's mom will be 24 yo on leap day. I think her youngest child is almost 30 yo now.:p

I'm curious, browneyes. Who is the mother of the 30 year old? Your friend or her 96 year old mother?

Krista :)

I hate math problems.

Not a birthday but the last town I lived in was incorporated on February 29, 1872. That makes it only 32 years old :p

I can't find the information right now but I've read that Holbrook is the only town in the USA to be incorporated on leap year day.

My cousin was a leap day baby. She'll be 4, and is very excited to be finally getting her driver's license.

They've always celebrated her birthday on March 1st. I wonder if that or February 28th is more common?

My 3rd wedding anniversary will be on Feb. 29th even though we have three kiddos 9yo, 6yo and 4yo:rolleyes:  :hyper: :earseek: :p

We were married in 1992...for the record::yes::

LOL! That was a typo.:p She's 14, not 24.:teeth:

I was born on the lucky day - 2/29. I'll be 11 this year (I wish)...

Happy Birthday to all my fellow leap year babies.

We'll be attending my nephew's 1st birthday party on Sunday. My brother and SIL actually wanted him to be born on Leap Day.

browneyes - I did the math in my head and I thought that seemed really old for the mother of a 30 year old :teeth:.

Krista
