Hello, so I have been with the company for a little over a year now, I started out my CP in quick service and I am currently in full time attractions. I am going back to school part time and was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about how the LCC works and how different areas such as Park ops, Merchandise or quick service select from the pool. Would it be easy for me to get into it with trainer, coordinator under my belt while going to school? Thanks, any information is helpful.

For what it's worth, I'm in kind of the same boat. I've been doing meet and greets with my various managers and with other managers they put me in contact with. I expressed my interest in entering leadership either through the LCC or MI to all of them and they overwhelmingly recommended that I become a trainer, then coordinator. So that's where I'm at right now. I'm a trainer and coordinator designee in my location. They suggested gaining experience as a coordinator and allowing them to fine tune my resume. They also stressed that I set up mock interviews with my area leaders when the time comes to help prepare me for entering the LCC. I plan on waiting a bit before actively entering the LCC because I want more experience leading my operation as a coordinator before I bite off more than I can chew. Not sure if any of that was helpful but I'm interested also in what others may have to say.

Thanks, that was helpful, I appreciate it, Im trying to get there as quick as possible, but I want experience as a status coordinator for a but as well, I just dont know how the process works and I am also trying to decide or not operations is the way to go, I heard it takes awhile with operations, I could be wrong though
