Le Cellier vs. Yachtmans

I have been to both and I prefer Yachtsman. The steak was excellent, so too was the atmosphere and service. Remember that this is a signature restaurant, they will give you ample tije to appreciate and digest each course, if you're in any sort of hurry, you need to let them know.

Il Mulino in the Swan is another possibility.

I was looking at that, too. My husband is on a low-carb kick so Italian may be a tougher sell.
We've never stayed in the Epcot area before so I just didn't realize all of the fabulous food options available to us there. I know there is good food in the International part of Epcot but I wasn't fully aware of the Boardwalk area restaurants. Or the yummy choices in the Swan. I'm extra excited about my trip now!!!

Yachtsman gets my vote! :thumbsup2
We eat there every trip.

Shula's is also another of our favorites & just a 10 minute walk away.

We plan to hire a babysitter for one night so my husband and I can go out for an adult dinner. We're staying at BCV and I don't want to be too, too far away from the kids. We've never been to any of the restaurants in the BC/BW area so I'm not very familiar. We've also never been to Le Cellier's. If you were going to plan one romantic night out, which would you choose? Or do you have an alternative suggestion?

Thanks!
Amanda

Are you looking for a plan on the dinning plan or are you willing to pay out of pocket? If having to be on the dinning plan is not an issue walk over to the Swan and give Il Mulino's a try for high end Italian or Shula's Steakhouse for a true high end steakhouse experiance.

We're totally willing to pay out of pocket. I had no idea there were so many nice restaurants at the Swan. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

I would go with Yachtsmen. Its a favorite of ours and the atmosphere is much quieter than Le Cellier. You will see kids in Yachtsmen but its just a completely different feel. At Le Cellier, its always so crowded, we have always had a very long wait and once in felt a bit rushed. The food is very good, I love their Mushroom Filet, but I know if I was doing a dinner alone with my dh, I'd pick Yachtsmen every time over any other two ts place in WDW.

My all time favorite server is there, his name is Thomas and he is just the best.

And for sure ask to sit by a window so you can see a bit of Illuminations. Its not like seeing Wishes from Cali Grill, but it adds a nice touch.

Enjoy wherever you go!

Stick with bluezoo, you will not be sorry. I've only got to wait 3 months and 2 days now for my next dinner there.

We have been to both places and prefer Yachtsman Steakhouse! Love the food!!

If your looking for a good steak house for a romantic night, I would do Shula's. It was the best steak everyone in my family has ever had and it is very quiet and secluded in there.

I'd pick:
Yachtsman first (most romantic, great food)

then Le Cellier (least romantic, best food)

then Shulas (not romantic, good food- had a disappointing steak there once or twice and really found it to be a "guys" restaurant)

Il Mulino... ug. Terrible service, terrible food. Two of our party send back their orders and got something else. Waiter abandoned us and we had to get the waterboy to get us the check.

Bluezoo is a great option. I would recommend Flying Fish first as the food and atmosphere is the best. The menu also has everything not just seafood. After that I would go with Yachtsman Steakhouse, Shula's is great too but you can do that in many cities so it looses a little of its Disney luster.

I was wondering that about Shula's. We can get excellent steak in NY so maybe something different is better! I'll check out Flying Fish, too.
