Does anyone know how often the vegetarian entree at Le Cellier changes? I know they do change it around every once in awhile.

I'm asking because I'll be going with my family to Le Cellier on June 1. When I went last January, the entree was butternut squash ravioli and I absolutely loved it. Right now, it's listed on allears (updated January 2009) as porcini mushroom ravioli. I do not like mushrooms whatsoever and I assume it's a mushroom filled ravioli so I can't just order without the mushrooms. I figure hopefully it will either change before I go, or I'll have to be a pain and call up ahead of time and ask if there's something else they can prepare for me.

I'm glad you asked this question. :)

We have reservations at Le Cellier since my husband is a heavy meat eater but I won't eat beef, fish, or pork (only chicken and turkey). Usually at a heavy beef place I order a vegetarian entree. I'm also interested in knowing the answer to this -- however, I am the opposite of you, in that I love mushrooms but won't eat butternut squash ravioli.

I hope someone knows the answer!

Well I don't think it would change to butternut squash ravioli since they already had that last year.

I know that they have no problem making substitutions if you call in advance, but I just feel like it would be such an inconvenience. I'd rather have the entree change to something I know I would eat. I've tried so many times to like mushrooms, but that's just not working for me.

We were there last week. It is currently mushroom ravioli (as in mushroom stuffed with extra mushrooms on top). Don't know how often it changes, though.

I'm the opposite as I am hoping that it doesn't change for when we are there in May. I love my mushrooms but wouldn't eat the butternut squash ravioli.

I'm also hoping that the veggie option stays the same at Coral Reef and the Yachtsmans.:thumbsup2

It's been the porcini mushroom version since at least late September - and as much as I do like mushrooms, I wasn't impressed. It really didn't have much flavor.

Feel free to call them! They are very accommodating and will make you something special with advanced notice (at least 24 -72 hours). Just call 407 WDW DINE and ask for the food & beverage number for Le Cellier. Most likely you will speak with a chef!:goodvibes

Let us know how it turns out.

I will add that I'm gluten-free as well as vegetarian so the Ravioli did me no good on our March 2008 trip, but the chef made a lovely vegetarian dish involving various fresh vegetables in olive oil over the cream cheese mashed potatoes, so if you don't like the entree they may be able to make something you do like.

Similar question, but not about the ravioli (I was wondering the same thing)

Does anyone know if you're able to order the cheddar cheese soup without the bacon?

If it's an actual ingredient, instead of just a topping - try Walt Disney Wonders' advice of calling in advance of your meal.

I've actually always wondered this as well. I'm pretty sure it has chicken or beef broth so I don't know how easy it would be to make the soup without that. I've always really wanted to try it though since everyone raves about it!

Thanks everyone for your help. I guess if it doesn't change before my trip I'll have to call in advance.

I asked once about having the cheddar cheese soup without the bacon and was told that unfortunately it wasn't possible because it is actually cooked in the soup and is not just a garnish on top.
