So is it just me or was the whole experience of making an ADR really not as bad as everyone made it seem? LOL. I just made the call for a reservation in late April, and got it with no problems.
Now on to the actual question... I'm surprising the bf with reservations at Le Cellier on our trip there (he's a big steak fan, as am I!), and I got the reservation... only problem is it's for 8:30, and according to a schedule I spotted online, Illuminations starts at 9 - eep! I called back, but they're totally booked up now. So my question is, how easy is it to get an earlier dinner time if you already have a reservation? I'm going to keep calling - the woman who assisted me told me to try closer to the date of my dinner - but are there any tricks I'm supposed to know about?
I'd have tried booking the Rose & Crown for the view of Illuminations, but the steak reviews got my attention.
The trip is for my birthday, so this is our one big meal splurge in an otherwise thrifty, shoestring-budget vacation!
Any help is much appreciated!
