Le Cellier or Teppanyaki

For my 40th birthday, I am trying to decide between Le Cellier or Teppanyaki for dinner. We will have two kids with us, 5 and 8, so for that reason, I have been leaning more towards Teppanyaki. But.....I am dying to try Le Cellier, too. I don't know what to do. I really don't want the kids to get bored. Any opinions?

I vote for Teppanyaki, We had three families with us and we had great time. Alot depends on you chef, some have more personality. Le Cellier is very good for Prime Rib and Steak. We ate at both and the kids are still talking about having the food cooked in front of them and eating with chopsticks

Touch decision. I love both. My kids love both. The food at Le Cellier for kids is the typical though. At Teppanyaki its more like the adults. My kids love the shrimp kids meal at Teppanyaki, and its fun to watch the chef.

Le Cellier is one of my Must-Dines!!! The food is excellent and so is the service.

I've eaten at both restaurants last September. My mom, sis, and I all preferred Le Cellier. It was the best meal during our stay! Teppanyaki was good, but not great. I frequent Japanese restaurants and that one did not rank high on my list.

I guess it depends on your taste (and your children's). My vote would be for Le Cellier.

I was really surprised to hear all the raves about Le Cellier. Our experience was not that great. We arrived for our PS 20 minutes early. We were not seated until 35 minutes after our reservation time. We were sandwiched between two other tables. The flavor of the steak was good, but it was terribly tough! IMO, filet should melt in your mouth, not be touch to chew. My husbands prime rib was even worse (tough). We were disappointed. Honestly we have had better steak at Outback. It just tasted as if it was prepared an hour before served. Just our experience...

We've always loved LeCellier. We went there Wednesday for lunch and got the steak sandwich and it was tough. I ended up taking it out of the bread and cutting it. Hope this isn't a trend...we always go there for our Candlelight Processional package.

We make it a must to eat at Le Cellier. My DH & DS (age 16) love the Cheddar Soup. They crave it all year long waiting to return. I found the receipe once online but could not make it to taste the same.

Although we like Teppanyaki, we have a local Japanese restaurant that we frequent and is equal to Teppanyaki.

My grandson is a picky eater, but he really did like the cheddar and bacon soup. We make it a
must to go there every trip. The pretzel bread
sticks are so wonderful.

My kids were 5 and 8 when we went to Teppanyaki. THEY LOVED IT! They were the only kids at the table and the chef had both of them laughing the whole time he was cooking.

These are my two favorite restaurants. We dine at both every trip. But my vote goes to Teppanyaki.

This is the Exact question I had. I'm torn between the two.

My kids love Japaneese, and there is a restaurant we go to here at home, and I thought the Disney one would be even better. But with all the fabulous talk about Le Cellier, I don't know which to pick. The cheddar soup sounds great.

100percentdisney-Was your cheddar soup eatable? I once tried to make a Disney recipe and it too did not turn out. It was a recipe for Hilton Head Dafauskie(sp) Crab Cakes, and, well, I had crab globules (yuck) for some reason I can't bring myself to eat another crab cake again. lol.

I've made my decision! Le Cellier it is! I'm calling today. Thanks everyone for all your help. We have two wonderful Japanese restaurants here, so I think we will just do that here. Thanks again.

Ohhh, I'm torn between the 2 too!! We are going the Sat. following Thanksgiving, and will be traveling with....our 2 yr old dd, our best friends & their 2 yr. old ds, my SIL & her 2 yr old dd & 16 yr old ds. Overall 5 adults, 3-2 yr. olds, and a teen. I just can't figure out what is the best choice?

We will be dining at Ohana the night before, and I'm afraid that the food at Teppanyaki will be too similar?? Any suggestions???

i dined at Le Cellier a couple of weeks ago, and for anyone else who isn't a steak lover, just wanted to say their maple salmon is really good too.
