Le Cellier menu question

I see on the Le Cellier menu that the cheese soup is listed as having bacon in it. Does the soup just have it sprinkled on top, or is it actually in the soup? I am just curious if it is possible to order it without it since I am not a meat eater.
Thanks for your help.

I am not sure where the bacon is in/on the soup, but I will say that I've NEVER had a problem making requests at Disney restaurants. They are just like any other restaurant. I can't eat tomatoes so I always request things without and there has never been an issue (or even an eyebrow raised.)

I guess the only problem would be if they mix the bacon IN the soup before making your bowl, like in a bit pot. But it can't hurt to ask.

It's in the soup. I just had some last week it was delicious!!

I want everyone to know it's available for take-out. We were not eating dine-in. I have always wanted to try it so I asked the hostess and she ordered me a cup to go. It was a large serving and about $6.00

Thank you! I thought I'd heard this somewhere but wasn't sure. I can't get in to Le Cellier for my trip in 19 days, but the soup and the pretzel bread are all I want anyway.

Do you know if this is viewed as a counter service option? I'm on the quick service dining plan.

I have 3 different recipes for the Cheese Soup at LeCellier that I have collected over the years. ALL have bacon in the soup.

Some day I think I'll try making all 3 versions and see which one is "real"

It is in the soup. My friend is allergic to pork and the chef said she had to skip it. They can not take it out.

Not sure about the dining plan, we didn't have it. I forgot about pretzel bread. I would have liked to try that too.
