We were thinking of doing Le Cellier at 8:50pm and then me and my father leaving to go see Illuminations, are there any good viewing spots near Le Cellier?
Do you think the food will still be fresh?
Would the waiters hold the table if my mother wanted to come?
And finally, would you reccomend doing Le Cellier TWICE? We have another reservation there as well and are currently having a family arguement about where to go.
Thanks in advance :)

i would think once you walk out of the restaurant you will have lost the table, provided your mom goes for illuminations. however, if she remains at the table, i would think the table will be secured. i can not see the waitstaff holding a table if the entire party leaves even for illuminations. as far as doing lecellier twice~sure why not? it is a great restaurant and the food is good.

You might want to try for an earlier ADR time at Le Cellier. Last Sept during the free dining period, they were so far behind we waited almost an hour past our 7:20 ADR time. We heard the first fireworks going off just before we ordered dessert so my son and D-I-L went out to see Illuminations while my ex and I ate our desserts and ordered theirs to go.

FYI-Le Cellier was not accepting any walk ups, so I don't know why they were so far behind. We were told when we checked in (early by the way) that it be about an hour. We were finally seated about 50 minutes after our ADR time.

Ahhh.

And would we be able to see Illuminations from anywhere near Le Cellier?

Last year we had late reservations and was waiting on our check when we heard illuminations start. It was raining lightly and the kids and I headed outside to see the show. We basically walked up the garden path and stood on the sidewalk by the lake so dh could find us when he came out. We had an unexpectedly great view of the show from that location.

Well thanks everyone!
I am thinking of cancelling the ADR though, so maybe we could go to a different restaurant.
Lots of thanks!
