Hooray...I finally got a reservation for Le Cellier for October 24. 
It's the only request my DH has made and I've been trying for weeks. I kept trying 2-3 times a day (whenI could) and I kept checking the October 2010 cancellation thread. Many of you said that often things open up at the 45 day mark, so I logged on this evening and did my usual routine of searching for an opening beginning at 11 am. The first time I did it an opening popped up for the 4 of us at 12:05 pm and I grabbed it 
The date I got was 46 days from today.
Persistance really did pay off....just keep trying!
