I don't suppose anyone is cancelling their Le Cellier ADRs for dinner anytime b/t 8/31 - 09/08? I was hoping to have dinner there to celebrate my 30th birthday, so I called today and they're completely booked for dinner (for a party of three) for the entire week! I am shocked!! Last year, we waited to book ADRs until mid-July, and were able to get dinner reservies at Le Cellier (albeit at 4:50 p.m.) during Labor Day week last year. Wonder what's different this year?

I'm so disappointed. :sad1:

Did you see if there was any availabity for lunch?

I have a 5:40 on 9/4 but it's for a party of 7.......hmmmm I don't know if it would work

We couldnt get in for our trip either (08/10-16). We have a lunch ressie but might change to Coral Reef for dinner instead. I read another post that said LC is booked for all of Aug. and Sept......I think I believe it now.

Tigger714, you're thinking of cancelling your ADR?? I don't know how it works when you're trying to pick up someone else's cancelled ADR, and I have no idea what would happen if a party of 3 tried to book after a party of 7 cancelled?

They do have some lunch availability those days, but the lunch menu is so different from the dinner menu. I was really hoping for dinner, but if lunch is my only option, maybe I should consider it. I'm just really hoping for some pixie dust to get a dinner ADR, I guess!!

We went last Feb and had a late lunch seating. I had a steak like I always do and it was good. :thumbsup2

September is part of Disney's free Dining Promotion. Maany people booked their ADR's at the 180 day mark, even before Disney announced the program in hopes of.

Le Cellier is one of THE most popular restaurants at Disney. Free DDP only makes it sell out faster.

Try for lunch as the PP suggested, or try for a different choice. There are so many other choices.

Keep trying though. Plans do change, ADR's get cancelled. It doesn't hurt to try!

Good luck and happy planning :thumbsup2

I would keep trying to get the dinner ppl cancel all the time that was how I got my ADR for dinner at LeCellier got it the 2nd try too. That was for a party of 2 but I lucked out got the time I wanted too. The magic must have been with me that day.

Keep trying. I went during free dining last year and didn't even purchase my package till August, and I got in--twice (called back later to change times and was able to). Both times I called, there was only a reservation or 2 available, so it was probably due to cancellations.
