Hello there...Does anyone have any sneaky tips as to how we can get a reservation for Le Cellier Canada Steakhouse? :( I have called numerous times and there are no openings. I know this place books up early but we aren't going until Sept. HMM? Any advice or tips would be great! :thumbsup2

Thank you!

I would suggest you start calling every morning at 7am and see if there are any cancellations. I booked at exactly 180 days out and had a heck of a time getting the ressie. It's at 4:15pm which isn't exactly what we wanted, but we got in. You can also hang around the desk when they open to see if someone doesn't show up for their ressie. The food and service are wonderful! Good luck!

For places like LeCellier you have to call 180 (180+10 if you are staying on WDW propeorty) days out to get what you want and even then it is pretty spotty on what is available.

keep calling!!people do cancell~we were there 2 weeks ago and had to cancel our 6:50 Friday evening dinner(our son got sick)so theres still hope:)

I have been calling off & on since April 7 for anything 9/4 - 9/9 lunch or dinner......to no avail I am keeping my hopes up for a cancellation:goodvibes Good Luck!

You might want to try 45 days before your trip. That's the deadline for cancellations for some people. Good luck!

You're going during Free Dining time so reservations are hard to get during that time especially for places like LeCellier. I agree with the PP suggestion of 45 days before. I booked our trip in June for last September and was able to get a ressie for Le Cellier lunch when I called in July. Also, if you aren't able to get one before you leave, keep trying while you're there. Someone might cancel while they are there. Good luck!

Checking for cancellations is the best way to go. Call frequently, and something might open up. Good luck!

We have a tendency to get lucky there. Try calling around 3 - lots of people with those reservations are either tired and ready to go back to the hotel, or still full from lunch.

Get the NY strip and the beer cheese soup. You won't regret it! (The Creme Brule isn't bad either.)

my advice is the same as the others...pray for a cancellation. I would NOT suggest walking up that night and thinking that you might get in. We saw AT LEAST 10-15 families walking up while we were waiting for our table last year and the CM kept giving the same speech over and over again "Le Cellier is booked for this evening, Le Cellier typically books up 6 months in advance, all Epcot TS restaurants are booked for this evening, if you would like me to call another restaurant to see if they've had a cancellation or have any availability for later in the week, I can"

do like others have suggested & call often to check for cancellations but also try this: if you are on the DDP & the CM asks you if you are, tell them no. we've found that there are resies for ppl on the DDP & there are some reserved for those who are not

LeCellier is the most popular restaurant on Disney property next to Cindy's. I found that I can usually get in if I call about two weeks in advance, but I only need a spot for two. It is the larger parties that are hard to seat.

Agree! We were too full to do the place justice so we cancelled our reservation that afternoon (free dining 07).

Check out the restaurants board - there should be a thread showing where people are canceling or exchanging their reservations (at least there was last year during free dining). I got several good reservations this way!

I called at 180 days and we wanted Le Cellier for our 10th day so that we could get a good dinner time for us aka not 4 or closing time. I remember I said Sept 27 (Friday, also EMH PM) and the CM said something like- oh I'm sorry it looks like there are no more openings for dinner on this date the only, and LAST time available was 1:50PM. I was completely stunned! Turns out, she got the date wrong and was looking on Sept 20. When she looked on the correct date, we got whenever we wanted basically!!! Same with all of our restaurants (within 20 minutes of our desired times).

My point is that even at 183 days, it basically all booked up. We like to go but wouldn't be devistated if we didn't. It's not dire, not even in our top 5 but we still go because we go for over 2 weeks and like variety, I just don't understand why the HUGE HYPE for this restaurant, it's good but not THAT good.

My tip: When you make your ADRs, definitely without a doubt, do it at 180 days and put the harder to get ADR restaurants toward the end of your trip. Less people are eligable to make reservations the further out you go.
