Has anyone done lunch there that can share their experience or food pics. i read all about the dinner there but haven't seen much about lunch. For that day I am planning Norway Princess Breakfast, Le Cellar for Lunch and Beirgaten for dinner.....all new to me and on the new 2009 deluxe plan.

We ate lunch there in Oct, it was pretty much like dinner. One difference was that the steak size was smaller, oh and it came w/ regular potatoes not the cream cheese mashed potatoes. One good tip i found was that the mango smoothie counted as a regular drink on the DDP. It was awesome! -so was the duck appetizer. We're going in Dec for lunch too, and i just realized it is for the same time as back in Oct! Have fun!

I had lunch there last December and it was perfect! The resturant was not as crowded as I have seen it at dinner. The waitstaff was very pleasant and spent a lot of time on our table, checking back regularly, but without being pesty.

The same food is on the lunch menu for the most part.

The only draw back was having a BIG lunch and then trying to walk around the park the rest of the day.

You are going to be soooo full at the end of that day! That's a lot of food. We enjoyed LeCellier for lunch--wouldn't have been able to eat the whole dinner-sized steak anyway. And it was a nice relaxing time in the middle of the day.

we prefer lunch over dinner at le cellier - nice break mid day, out of the heat and hot sun - more time to digest that steak!!!

I've never eaten dinner there but my friend and I ate lunch there in January and it was one of our most enjoyable and delicious meals. We each had the cheese soup (YUM), the mussels, and we split a steak sandwich that both of us are still dreaming of. We had a great server and just really enjoyed it.

My friend goes to WDW every Sept and eats dinner there with her family. She told me that this year she is thinking of doing lunch instead because she can't stop thinking about the sandwich!

we ate there for lunch and enjoyed our meals very much. if you are looking for a slower meal order your appetizer and then your main other wise they seem to come out all at once....we had a late lunch there and was so full from it we had to cancel our dinner ADR

The sandwich's are also great! I don't think there is a bad thing on the menu and don't fill up on the bread.

We had lunch there Feb 07 and it was very good. Sadly the wonderful entree I ordered (beef tips with stir fry veggie and udon noodles) is no longer on the menu

Thanks for all the replies. Breakfast at Norway will be at 8:00, lunch at Le Celliar will be around 1:00 and Dinner at Biergarten will be at 7:30 so I am not concerned about too much food. From looking at menus I am interested in the Prime Rib sandwich or the steak salad and soup, my future DH will most likely order steak but he is a bottemless pit so I am not worried. As it will be our honeymoon I want to make sure that our meals are nice and romantic, but with good food.

Any pics from lunch at Le Celliar?:confused3

I had lunch there and had something that wasn't on the menu. I had an "entree size" bowl of the famous cheddar cheese soup. Because we had dinner ressies that night, I didn't want too much so the server suggested that. With the pretzel bread-Yummy!

We had lunch there Dec 07 and it was one of our favorites. My husband loved the tomato stack and we both enjoyed the steak. I recall having the creme brulee for desert and hubbie had the chocolate "moose". Wish we would have taken a picture of it. Also dd (3) had the steak. Nice change from chicken nuggets and mac & cheese.
