Can you extended this till next weekend.. I so want to do this page but DH is tearing up my house.....and I can't get anything done for they are constantly yelling for me to get supplies in town....

But I HATE it! My handwriting, for one thing, is not very pretty. It's never consistent, I write on a slant most of the time (I'm lucky if I can even get stickers on straight!), and it's pretty much guaranteed that I will mess up at least one word.

When I first started journaling a lot I hated my handwriting too, but as I have done it more I find that it has greatly improved. I have an addiction to my white gel pen! I still mess up occasionally, but I have found some ways to deal with it. First, I write out what I am going to say before putting it on the page. Then I copy the text onto pencil lines on the page (because mine would be totally crooked if not!). Then I have a pencil eraser and piece of sandpaper on hand. If I mess a word up either the sand paper, the eraser, or both will clean up the mistake with no stray marks or shadows. I have too many photos and mementos from past generations with no stories...I have to journal.

I wanted to finish this but the transmission decided to drop out of my washing machine...so I'm in the midst of the laundry crisis! I'll try to finish this this weekend and post but don't worry about extending it... seems everytime I commit to doing one of these layouts things break around here...
