One of my favorites is why Chicago's Ohare Airport is ORD. I think I heard the answer to that at a DISmeet. Very interesting website RMD. Thanks.

All Canadian airport codes begin with Y. It helps to distinguish the Canadian airport from all the other ones. We took Travel and Tourism in night school, and the hardest airport codes to learn were the Canadian ones! I knew YYZ cause I live here!
