Hey all!
We've been looking at the easiest (but not expensive) way to get from LAX to Hollywood, and then back. We'll be going there after our flight lands, wandering around for the afternoon (I've been before, so we're really just going to see the walk), then going back to LAX to catch the Disneyland Express.
So it seems we have two options. We can take the Metro, with one transfer from LAX to Hollywood, or we can take the Flyaway shuttle to Union Station, then transfer to the metro.
Has anyone done either of these options, and if so, what is the EASIEST? I've lived in Toronto and London, so public transport doesn't normally phase me, but I always have that fear of being in a new place and getting completely and utterly lost. I'm not familiar with LA, so I don't know how confusing or simple their system is.
Just for background info: we're packing light, just carry-on bags, so luggage shouldn't be an issue. Also, renting a car is unfortunately NOT an option.
I would love to hear some feedback from everyone!
Thanks in advance!
