I'm interested in knowing if anybody has an opinion on how this may help current DVC owners. Are there benefits to this new policy that I am overlooking?

If Disney/DVD continues to make money, then all DVC owners will continue to benefit.

If Disney/DVD quits making money, DVC will be hurt by that.

Those that plan to be members for the long hall benefit from Disney making changes that benifit the Disney/DVD business.

More money made means more money put back into the resort.

IMO, that would be a silly thing to raise a suit over.
