I didn't watch the original but will give the new one a chance. Mostly because I like Camyrn Manheim.

I watched and wanted to turn if off after about 15 minutes of Burn Notice dude, but my wife overruled me. (As always )

Christopher Meloni (Eliot Stabler) always "did it" for DW, but we stopped watching his new L&O partway thru the second episode. We just didn't care for the subject matter.

We still watch SVU, but don't care if we miss an episode. USA and other cable networks have marathons a few times each week. The original L&O also has some marathons and we binge for 3 or 4 hours, sometimes longer.
