Does anyone know if there is a self-service launderette at or near POP? Also, are there any sort of ironing facilities or should I take my own iron?

Hi Joanne

Yes there are laundry services on site at the Pop, they are normally near to the swimming pool, we were in the 50's block and there was one right by the pool there. Ironing board and Iron are also in your room.

Just remember that you'll need lots of quarters for the washing powder and the machines. I'm taking my own detergent tablets and conditioner (small size) and some Bounce sheets. That stuff in the vending machines makes us itch

If you do find yourself short of quarters, there is a machine in the laundry room that will change notes into quarters.

We are staying at the AKL and the Wyndham - does anyone know if they have laundry facilities at these two hotels?

AKL will definately have them, all onsite hotels provide them as standard, not sure about the other but I would guess so. If not just wait to do your washing until you get to AKL!
