The Burt's Bees FAQs page says: "Help, I forgot to remove my lip balm from my pocket before doing my wash! Here are few suggestions for removing lip balm from clothing that has gone through the wash and dry cycles:
-Soak clothing in boiling water with detergent. Repeat until the stain is removed.
-Turn water heater on washing machine to highest setting and wash with detergent.
-If these attempts fail to remove stains, try commercial stain removers or dry cleaning. "

The kind that mechanics use to get grease off their hands. Lestoil does work great!! I just used some tonight to get out a pizza grease stain on my son's new sweatshirt. Good luck!!

Hmm, they keep recommending heat. It's probably to remove the wax. I wonder if you can simply put a folded up sheet of paper towel over the stain & iron it, to melt & absorb the wax. This is the remedy when wax is accidentally spilled on clothes.
