laundry at SOG?

Has anyone every used the laundry pick-up service at SOG? I am not talking about the laundry room where I do it myself, but where a service comes and picks up your bag of laundry and does it for you. At least, when we were there last that is how it seemed to work. Was the service good, how did your clothes come out? I hate taking the time to do laundry during the middle of my vacation, but we are going to be there for 10 days (during June) and I am thinking we may be changing our clothes a lot in all that heat and I don't want to pack a ton of clothes.

I can't answer your question, but I remember reading a thread a while back about this. I think it was a couple of bucks per item. That sounds like it could get very expensive. Last time we were at SOG, I just did my laundry while we were at the pool. The laundry is located on the second floor right near the elevator located near the pool. I would just go back and check on it after 30 minutes and then go back to the pool. That way I didn't feel like I was wasting too much time.

Shades of Green. It is the on-site hotel run by the Army MWR. It is an on-site hotel for military & DoD employees and their family. It use to by the "Disney Inn Hotel" before the Army took it over. For me, it is one of the greatest deals on Disney property.

ok, i know it well, i play golf there about 20 times a year, i guess i had a brain f**t, .....btw, the renovations look great, but if you are a florida resident, there are better deals, aren't there?

Depends on what your pay grade is/was. Some times the overflow rates beat Disney, some times, they don't. Always pays to check first.
