We are staying at the Port Orleans -- Riverside hotel between the dates of 12/22 and 12/26 and then heading over to a hotel (the Clarion) closer to Universal.

Since we are driving down we are not packing enough outfits for our entire trip and will need to do some laundry on our trip.

According to DISboards there is laundry at Port Orleans?
Questions:

* Does anyone know does the laundry room have enough machines to accomodate all guests?
* What is the best time to visit the laundry room so I don't have to wait? (very early AM? late PM?)
* Anyone know the current prices?
* Is it near the pool? Can I throw a load of laundry in and watch the kids at the pool. I do this at Danforth Bay when camping. :)

Mind you my visit was in 2001... & my memory is foggy so someone please correct me if I'm wrong:

* Does anyone know does the laundry room have enough machines to accomodate all guests? - there are several different laundries spread about.. about a dozen machines in the one I visited
* What is the best time to visit the laundry room so I don't have to wait? (very early AM? late PM?) Seemed less busy in the AM
* Is it near the pool? Can I throw a load of laundry in and watch the kids at the pool. I do this at Danforth Bay when camping. The one I went to was right outside the quiet pool.

Can't recall the prices but I do know (as with all Disney dryers I've encountered) it took FOREVER & repeat cycles to get anything dry!

We were just there in Oct. and I did laundry at POR. There is a laundry at the quiet pool areas - I believe at each one but we did laundry by Bldg 18 in Alligator Bayou. It cost more than I thought it would - I think $2 per load to wash and $2 to dry plus soap. Luckily there was a nice man there who break a $20 so that I could use the change machine. :sunny:

Do you know if the Port-Orleans has the EXTRA large washing machines? What about laundry off-site near SeaWorld?
