Do the self service washers and dryers at CS take cash or card or both? And are detergents available for purchase?

They take a credit card and yes detergent is available, also a credit card. 3 dollars per machine and 1 dollar for detergent.

There is also some detergent in the resort shops, similar to the machine prices, in case the machine runs out.
