I know this was asked before but I can't seem to find the answer, please pardon me for asking again. How much does it cost to have DCL iron a formal dress? also how much is it to develop regular 35mm film aboard?

The cost for pressing is 1/2 the dry cleaning cost..and that is minimal. The dress would be around $5. There is a link somewhere here for dcltribute site...he has all the dry cleaning prices. Either way..it is very inexpensive.

I don't remember the exact cost per print for film(which is how they charge it), but it came out to something around $12 or 13(it's been a while since we went, so don't take that as an absolute number) for a 27 exposure roll. They use the Kodak Gold process for developing. They do not guarantee anything sooner than overnight for returning your pictures.


My opinion? Yes, it's a teeny bit more than I could pay do get them done at home, but it's not going to break the bank. I like getting to see the pics before we head home, and the quality is excellent.
