It looks like something called the Laughing Stock Co. is playing at The Golden Horseshoe on Tuesdays and Wednesdays instead of Billy Hill and the Hillbillies. Is this old news that I missed? Or is it something new and exciting that we should try to check out on our upcoming trip? I don't know how I completely missed it until tonight! :rolleyes1

When we were there last year, Billy Hill played on certain days and Laughingstock on the others. I messed up in looking at the schedule and dragged DH and my daughters to see what we thought was going to be Billy Hill. Turned out I was looking at the wrong day and it was Laughingstock. We were not huge fans of the show, my girls were bored, as were DH and I. We will definitely skip it next time. Just my opinion. :goodvibes

I think it is funny that for all my obsessive planning, this is the first time I noticed this! :lmao:

Well, as long as there are no ringing endorsements or comments on the virtue of Laughing Stock, I suppose we will just stay with our plan to revel in the comedy of Billy Hill and the Hillbillies again. That is a show I can never get sick of!

We LOVE the Laughingstock Co! We haven't caught their indoor show, just the stuff they do outside the Horseshoe Theater. We wouldn't miss it!

We also love the Laughing Stock! My DH has been chosen to be one of the characters in the show twice now. He is such a ham! It is a fun show and very cute. We've never seen the outside version, just the one that is performed on the GH stage. I definitely think it is worth a try. We love Billy Hill, too, but my DH just really enjoys being able to get up on that stage...:cloud9:

I think the Laughing Stock is hilarious. I haven't seen them inside the Golden Horseshoe, but I always try to catch them when they were doing their shows outside the theater. If you want to see what they're about you can always try youtube

I enjoy Laughing Stock as well. The thing you have to remember about their shows is that is kind of an ongoing story though out the day, so no two shows will be the same (at least from our experience). We've always caught them earlier in the day, so we've seen the 1st three shows a few times, but have yet to see how the story actually plays out. I'm making that a goal this trip!!

My husband has been picked twice as well, and since he's really shy, it's funny to watch him up on stage or in front of a crowd outside.

I love the dating game sketch, especially when one of the "lucky" contestants knows what's going on and tries to give answers that will make him the least desirable date.

Well, Laughing Stock has officially been added to our itinerary. :thumbsup2 It sounds like too much fun to not give it a try!
